Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how All Camps Kids LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("All Camps Kids," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you use our website(s), application(s), and related services that help parents/guardians discover and connect with camps and related programs in the United States (the "Platform"). This Policy is designed to comply with applicable U.S. federal law and Texas law, including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Who We Are and Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to personal information processed by All Camps Kids in connection with the Platform. It does not apply to the privacy practices of Camps or other third parties, which are independent from All Camps Kids and govern their own processing activities. If you choose to engage with a Camp or follow a referral link to a Camp site, your interactions with that Camp are governed by the Camp's privacy policy and terms.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, account credentials, and communication preferences.
- Child profile information (provided by a parent/guardian): first name or nickname, birthdate or age range, interests, relevant health or accommodation notes voluntarily provided, and scheduling/location preferences. We do not require Social Security numbers or government IDs for children.
- Transactional information: membership status, payment authorization details (processed by our payment processor), purchase and membership history.
- Platform usage data: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages or screens viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
- Inference and preferences: saved favorites, filters, and preferences you set within your account.
- Communications and user content: messages you send to us, reviews or feedback you submit, and support inquiries.
- Geolocation (approximate): derived from IP address for location-based discovery. We do not collect precise geolocation unless you enable it on your device and choose to share it.
- Cookies and similar technologies: pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar tools used to operate, secure, and improve the Platform and to understand usage.
Sources of Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you when you create an account, complete profiles, set preferences, submit content, contact support, or pay for membership.
- Automatically from your device and browser via cookies and similar technologies when you use the Platform.
- From service providers that support our operations (e.g., hosting, analytics, payments, email/SMS delivery, identity/authentication).
- From Camps, but only if you choose to share your information with a Camp through our flows or referral links, and subject to the Camp's policies.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and improve the Platform, including account creation and management, membership, discovery features, and customer support.
- Match and present relevant Camps and programs, and facilitate referrals or introductions at your request.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions (via third-party payment processors).
- Communicate with you about features, updates, security alerts, administrative messages, and—if you opt in—marketing communications.
- Personalize your experience and remember your preferences.
- Monitor, secure, and protect the integrity of the Platform, detect and prevent fraud, and troubleshoot errors.
- Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.
Our Role vs. Camps' Role
All Camps Kids is the controller of personal information it collects through the Platform. Camps are independent third parties. If you share information with a Camp (including through links from our Platform), the Camp may become an independent controller of that information and will process it according to its own privacy policy. We do not control Camps' privacy practices and are not responsible for their handling of personal information.
Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance
The Platform is directed to adults (parents/guardians) acting on behalf of minors. We do not knowingly permit children under 18 to create accounts or submit personal information directly to us without verifiable parental consent.
Parents/guardians may provide limited information about their Child for discovery and matching. By providing a Child's information, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and consent to the collection and use of the Child's information as described in this Policy.
We collect only the minimum reasonably necessary information to provide requested features and do not condition a child's participation on disclosing more than is reasonably necessary.
Parents/guardians may review, delete, or refuse the further collection or use of their Child's information by contacting us at info@allcampskids.com. We will take steps to verify the requesting parent/guardian's identity before honoring such requests.
Legal Bases and Consent
We rely on your consent (e.g., for collecting Child information, certain marketing communications, and processing sensitive personal data under Texas law); our legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the Platform; performance of a contract (e.g., providing membership benefits you request) and compliance with legal obligations.
Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, we will obtain consent before processing sensitive personal data where required, which includes a child's personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time, though we may not be able to provide some services thereafter.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in and remember preferences;
- Measure and improve Platform performance and understand usage; and
- Provide and measure the effectiveness of communications.
You can adjust cookie preferences in your browser or device settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Platform may not function properly.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information to:
- Service providers and processors that act on our behalf under contracts that limit their use of personal information (e.g., hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, email/SMS, customer support, fraud prevention, and payment processing).
- Camps, when you request or authorize us to share your information or when you follow links to Camp sites (subject to the Camp's policies).
- Law enforcement, regulators, and others when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Successors and affiliates in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets), subject to continued protection of the information consistent with this Policy.
We do not sell personal information in the common understanding of "sell." If in the future we engage in activity that constitutes a "sale" or "targeted advertising" under applicable law, we will provide required disclosures and a method to opt out ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information").
Sensitive Personal Information
We treat children's personal information as sensitive. We do not seek to collect other sensitive categories (e.g., precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or health diagnoses) through the Platform. If you voluntarily include sensitive information in free-text fields, we will handle it consistent with this Policy and applicable law and may ask you to limit such disclosures to what is necessary.
User Rights Under Texas Law
Subject to legal limits, Texas consumers may have the following rights under the TDPSA:
- Access and portability: to confirm whether we process your personal data and to access it in a portable format.
- Correction: to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Deletion: to delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you.
- Opt-out: to opt out of processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data (as defined by law), or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Appeal: to appeal our decision regarding your request if we decline to act.
How to exercise your rights: Submit requests to info@allcampskids.com. We will verify your identity (and, for Child-related requests, your parental/guardian status) before responding. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or following the appeal instructions provided; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Authorized agents: Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.
Marketing Communications and Opt-Outs
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send you non-marketing messages about your account, membership, or transactions. For SMS, you can opt out by replying STOP.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and fulfill the purposes described, comply with legal obligations (including recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We apply retention criteria tied to account activity, membership status, legal requirements, and security needs. We delete or de-identify information when no longer needed, subject to legal or operational necessity.
Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and security monitoring. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Breaches and Texas Notifications
If we determine that a security incident involving personal information has occurred, we will take appropriate steps to contain and remediate the incident and will provide notifications in accordance with applicable law, which may include Texas-specific timing and content requirements. We will also notify relevant authorities when required by law.
Payments
We use third-party payment processors to collect and process payment information. We do not store full payment card numbers or security codes on our systems. Payment processing is subject to the processor's own terms and privacy policy.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Camps' websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
International Users
The Platform is intended for use in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States where laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy and update the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
